Minutes of a Special Meeting
12:00 P.M. May 7, 2009

Mayor Pro-Tem Steve Hunt called the meeting to order at 12:00 P.M. Absent at the time of roll call were Mayor Jeff Fiscus, Bob Hoversten and Mike Oliver. Also present was Tom Vanderloop and Lorrie Watts.

Bill Ramspott motioned to accept the agenda, Dale Hansen seconded the motion and all present voted aye.

Bill Ramspott motioned in favor of having Marty Wymore of Region Six Planning Commission submit a grant application on behalf of the City of Alden for a CDBG Grant from the flood funds available for infrastructure improvement in the amount of $1.2 million dollars for lining sewer lines and manholes. Dale Hansen seconded the motion and all present voted aye.

Dale Hansen motioned to approve Tim Moreau of Veenstra & Kimm Engineering Firm to submit a facilities plan with the CDBG Grant application for infrastructure improvement for a cost of $3900.00, Bill Ramspott seconded the motion and all present voted aye.

Bill Ramspott motioned to adjourn at 12:07 P.M., Steve Hunt seconded the motion and all present voted aye. The meeting was adjourned at 12:07 P.M.
