Minutes of a Special Meeting

March 11, 2010

Mayor Pro Tem Steve Hunt called the meeting to order at 12:00 Noon with Mayor Jeff Fiscus absent.  Council members Mike Oliver, Bill Ramspott, Janaan Harding and Bob Hoversten present at the time of roll call.  Also present was City Clerk, Lorrie Watts and

City Superintendent, Tom Vanderloop.

Mayor Pro Tem Hunt called for a motion to approve the agenda, Hoversten motioned, Harding seconded and all present voted aye.

Public Hearing: Mayor Pro Tem Hunt opened the Public Hearing at 12:01 PM. for questions on the Budget for Fiscal Year 2010/2011.  There were no questions from thepublic.  Mayor Pro Tem Hunt closed the public hearing at 12: 02 P.M.

Budget Adoption:  Hoversten motioned to adopt the Budget for Fiscal Year 2010/2011, Oliver seconded the motion and all present voted aye.

Adopt CDBG Flood Grant Policies:

1)      Equal Opportunity & Affirmative Action Policy

2)      Procurement Policy

3)      Code of Conduct Policy

4)      Policy Prohibiting Excessive Use of Force

5)      Affirmative Fair Housing Policy

Harding motioned to adopt, Hoversten seconded and all present voted aye.

Liquor License Approval:  Oliver motioned to approve the liquor license for Gifts from the Hart, Ramspott seconded and all present voted aye.

Public Input: None

Mayor Pro Tem Hunt called for a motion to adjourn, Hoversten motioned, Oliver seconded and all present voted aye.  Meeting adjourned at 12:12 P.M.
