Minutes of Special Meeting
September 22nd, 2011

Mayor Fiscus called the meeting order at 5:30 PM with Steve Hunt Bob Hoversten, Janaan Harding, Bill Ramspott and Mike Oliver present at the time of roll call.  The purpose of the special meeting was to interview the three applicants selected for interviews.  The meeting went into closed session at 5:31 PM for the interview process.  Mayor Fiscus called for a motion to come out of closed session, Bob Hoversten motioned and Steve Hunt seconded the motion to go into open session at 7:30 PM and all council members voted aye.  Bill Ramspott motioned to hire John Schwenneker for the Assistant City Superintendents position for $16.00/hour with full time benefit, a 90 day probationary period and $1.00 raise after a 120 day performance review.  Bob Hoversten seconded the motion and all council members voted aye unanimously.  The City Clerk was directed to contact John Schwenneker on Friday morning with the offer and to send correspondence to all other applicants thanking them for their time and efforts in this process. 

Mayor Fiscus called for a motion to adjourn, Bob Hoversten moved to adjourn, Bill Ramspott seconded the motion and all present voted aye. The meeting adjourned at
7:55 PM.
