The Alden Dam & River Access
One of the main attractions of the City of Alden is the Alden dam. Located just west of of downtown Alden, there is wonderful fishing all year long, and during dry times the water is shallow enough to walk to the island below the dam. On the north side of the river, a canoe portage allows canoers to get out, go around the dam and get back in below the dam. |
